Butterwick Hospice Care

Butterwick Hospice is based in the north east of England and runs three hospices, Butterwick Hospice in Stockton on Tees (Cleveland)and Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland (County Durham) and one children's hospice, Butterwick House, also in Stockton on Tees.

A wide range of services are provided free of charge to our patients and their families/carers both within each Hospice and from each hospice out into the communities they serve.

Butterwick provides specialist palliative care to children and adults with life limiting illnesses and provides that care in a friendly and homely environment.

The aim of Butterwick Hospice Care is to improve the quality of life for our patients and their families and to help them relate positively to every challenge they may encounter during their illness and beyond.
